DexVal

A project analyzing Dexcom CGM data beyond the standard Clarity app.

DexVal reads and reports on data from a Dexcom continuous glucose monitor (CGM). It is a historical prototype for displaying glucose data and summary metrics, not a clinical tool or medical advice.

A sensor is worn on the body. A transmitter reads glucose levels from it and sends the data to a phone through Dexcom's cloud database. Two Dexcom apps read that data, over different windows:

The Dexcom G6 mobile app displays data for the past 24 hours.
The Dexcom Clarity app displays data for the past year.

At present DexVal displays Dexcom data. Planned work covers habit and trend analysis.
