This policy explains what AI SEO Queries stores when you use the extension and how that information is handled.

What the extension collects

On the supported AI sites, the extension records:

the prompt you entered;
the search queries the assistant sent to a search engine;
the timestamp, assistant name, and page URL; and
limited technical details about a response when the extension cannot read it, such as field names and response size. Message content is not stored in these records.

Where it is stored

The information is stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. The extension does not send it to Eric Spencer or any third party. It has no advertising, analytics, telemetry, or error-reporting service, and the information is not sold or shared.

When needed to display searches associated with a ChatGPT conversation, the extension may request that information from ChatGPT through your existing session. That request goes to ChatGPT.

How long it is kept

The extension keeps the 500 most recent prompts. Older prompts are removed automatically. You can remove the information at any time with Clear in the side panel, Delete everything on the options page, or by uninstalling the extension.

Permissions

storage stores captured queries between browser sessions.
sidePanel displays the results in Chrome's side panel.
Access to chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com, and copilot.microsoft.com lets the extension read the responses those pages receive.

The extension only operates on those supported sites. It does not request access to all websites and does not access your credentials or cookies.
